Your summer road trip checklist

Long journeys in hot weather put extra strain on your vehicle. Run through this checklist before you set off and enjoy a trouble-free trip.

Why it matters

We spend our days at the sharp end of breakdowns, accidents and recoveries, which means we see the same problems come round again and again, and we know what usually causes them. Rather than keep that to ourselves, we’d rather pass it on.

What happens next

No sales pitch, no sign-up, no catch. Just useful stuff from people who do this every day. If you have a question we haven’t covered, our lines are open 24/7, 365 days a year.
